    O que pode mais exacerbar temores em minha vida — e que me põem em emoções e atitudes insensatas, em pura reatividade, está em negar-me ter uma profundidade realista na compreensão das poderosas forças que me cercam. Das suas fontes, das suas causas; consequências, etc. Quanto mais compreendê-las, fundamentá-las, os medos proporcionalmente se desfarão, ou serão devolvidos a dimensão que lhes cabem.

What can most exacerbate fears in my life—and what drives me into nonsensical emotions and attitudes, into sheer reactivity, is denying myself a realistic depth of understanding of the powerful forces that surround me. Of its sources, of its causes; consequences, etc. The more we understand them, justify them, the fears will proportionally fade away, or they will be returned to the dimension that fit them.
