Se governado pela busca por satisfação imediata e narcisista, que negligência, menospreza passado e o futuro — e com isso me colocando em uma relação inadequada com o meio, precipitar-me-ei em um trágico buraco cavado com insensatos acúmulos e regalias; que incapazes de satisfazer, me manterão em uma fome, em uma avidez destrutiva e cada vez mais autofágica. O presente tem que ser e ter ações promissoras, e não alheio a aprendizagem e acertamentos relacionais com o meio, a dinâmica da biosfera.

If governed by the search for immediate and narcissistic satisfaction, which neglects and disregards the past and the future — and thereby places me in an inadequate relationship with the environment — I will precipitate myself into a tragic hole dug with senseless accumulations and perks; which, incapable of satisfying, will keep me in a hunger, in a destructive and increasingly self-devouring greed. The present must be and have promising actions, and not oblivious to learning and relational adjustments with the environment, the dynamics of the biosphere.
