Infelizmente não só coisas terríveis podem me acovardar, me apavorar. Frequentemente é também intimidador acolher a potência, a capacidade que tenho de fazer algo bom: construtivo, saudável e promissor. Será isso o mais desafiador, o que exige mais coragem, responsabilidade; mais enfrentamentos — aqui de fato substanciosos, reais, necessários; que convém serem feitos. E antes dessas e para essas acontecerem, exige saber, exige compreensão que pesa as fontes em suas probabilidades: causas e resultados com seus encadeamentos sobre a biosfera — que me mantém ancorado para não me perder na inata e propagandeada ignorância, e no subjetivismo narcísico, para fazer imediato ajuste, mudanças ou preservação.

Unfortunately, it is not only terrible things that can make me cower and terrify me. It is also often intimidating to accept the power and capacity that I have to do something good: constructive, healthy and promising. This is the most challenging thing, the one that demands the most courage, responsibility; the most confrontations — here, in fact, substantial, real, necessary; that must be done. And before these things happen and for them to happen, it requires knowledge, it requires understanding that weighs the sources in their probabilities: causes and results with their connections to the biosphere — that keeps me anchored so that I do not get lost in the innate and propagated ignorance, and in the narcissistic subjectivism, in order to make immediate adjustments, changes or preservation.
