O querer e o se achar grande ensurdece-me, não me deixa escutar a regência sadia, efetivamente construtiva, fundamentada, vital que me chama; que me impede de acolher aquela comunicação que me faz dar respostas adequadas, interativas, respeitosas com o meio — seres animados e inanimados, da qual não me coloco como um aparte superior, narcisista, no mundo da ignorância, mas na consciência de uma pequena parte dependente de um todo e no todo, onde, junto e sintonizado, sou tornado grande.

The desire and the self-perception of being "great" deafen me; they prevent me from hearing the healthy, truly constructive, well-founded, and vital guidance that calls to me—guidance that enables me to embrace the kind of communication that leads to appropriate, interactive, and respectful responses to the environment (comprising both animate and inanimate beings). In this context, I do not position myself as a superior, narcissistic entity dwelling in ignorance, but rather with the awareness of being a small part dependent on—and existing within—the whole; a whole in which, by being united and in tune, I am truly made great.
