Aquilo que consinto que possua meus afetos é que reina sobre mim. Nisto uma potente força definidora do meu destino. O qual cabe minha responsabilidade: discernimento e elaboração, não a negligência. Sem confundir jamais meu ser com esses; que são elas, afeições, que estão dentro de mim e não meu ser dentro daquelas, e este, dentro de algo ainda maior.
