Somente me permitindo a coragem de enxergar e enfrentar as minhas deficiências e não mais fugir disso — e dificilmente me permito isso quando fico a determinar deficiência em outros, que isso alicia meu foco; quando não gravemente me põe a projetar sobre terceiros a responsabilidade dos efeitos de minhas imperfeições, não tratadas e nem reconhecidas — é que me concedo buscar e encontrar uma melhoria efetiva para mim e para o entorno.

Only by allowing myself the courage to see and face my deficiencies and no longer run away from them — and I hardly allow myself that when I find myself deficient in others, and this sharpens my focus; When it doesn't seriously make me project the responsibility for the effects of my imperfections, untreated or unrecognized, onto third parties - that's when I allow myself to seek and find an effective improvement for myself and my surroundings.
