Inúmeras são as necessidades, grandes são os anseios, mas estes não podem sair ao controle e se tornarem também uma ameaça que venham a estreitar e até obstruir acesso a algo bom para continuar sendo um bem para todos. Virar mais um perigo invisibilizado que venha a somar as inevitáveis: dissimulações, mentiras, adulteração; negação e distorção da verdade; relativizações toscas, cinismo. Cabendo vigilância para precaver e coragem para desmascarar e interromper, isso farei, no meu alcance, se quero evitar o alastrar de infortúnios.

Numerous are the needs, great are the desires, but these cannot get out of control and become a threat that narrows and even obstructs access to something good that continues to be a benefit for all. They cannot become yet another invisible danger that adds to the inevitable: dissimulation, lies, adulteration; denial and distortion of the truth; crude relativizations, cynicism. Vigilance is needed to prevent and courage to unmask and interrupt, and this I will do, to the best of my ability, if I want to avoid the spread of misfortunes.
