Que eu não me engane, será intensificar e jamais sanar, se eu enfrentar o mal com meios maus, com o insensato objetivo de destruir. Nesta reativa atitude, neste impulso, aquele (o mal) simplesmente aprofundará seus alastrantes rizomas neste agora fecundo terreno. Só o seu oposto, o bem, pode, tem potência para desterrá-lo, de impedir que ele espalhe “subterraneamente” raízes e se reproduza, rebrote — intenso e mais sinistro.
