O tentar ser empático é inteligência, que me abre as possibilidades de algo muito mais superior, adequado, melhor. Que é muito diferente das possibilidades que crio quando sou arrogante, intransigente, egocêntrico, ignorante - fechado a aprendizagem, ao aprimoramento que se dá, não raramente, com a interação com os outros, com o diverso. Se de fato quero e me oriento pelo mais adequado, ele motiva a enxergar isso. Pois sendo empático gero, oportunizo uma estrutura de chances de ter um chão, uma base, uma fundação que possivelmente me será um acolhimento caso venho a quedar por algum motivo, por algum vacilo, por alguma falha. Não decaio sobre algo "duro e frio" da intransigência, esfacelando-me, mas sobre algo - que favorece acontecer - que amortecerá impactos e ainda dará apoio, condições, estrutura para mais rapidamente reerguer e tentar novamente até superar, avançar para algo cada vez mais satisfatório e não mais regredindo e muito menos piorando.
